OpenMobile is seeking talented Director of Customer Services to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Define, Implement, and evolve OpenMobile's customer services strategy.
- Select and implement a scalable, world-class multi-channel help desk infrastructure, including leading edge self-help and live-support modes.
- Establish a technical support center in our MA headquarters office.
- Attract, hire, develop, manage, and retain top level customer service engineers.
- Develop 24x7 support capabilities to ensure high severity incidents are managed around the clock to meet customer needs.
- Manage the daily customer support operations
- Define, implement, monitor, and share customer service metrics that ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Identify key customer incident trends and provide continuous feedback to Product Management and Development teams
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in building customer support organization from ground up is preferred.
- Experience with multiple support channels, including an understanding of the scalability and cost effectiveness of web channels is required.
- Experience with managing customer services for software products is required – experience with mobile app-related products is a major plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) is required – experience with mobile operating systems (Android, WebOS, Tizen, Windows RT, etc.) is a major plus.
- Mobile App knowledge in terms of end-user experience with installing, running, and obtaining technical support for mobile apps via app stores, app developers, or support communities.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 10 years’ experience in high technology products and services solution delivery required.
- 5 years’ experience in directing/managing a customer services team required.

OpenMobile is seeking a talented Controller to join our team!
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will need to be hands-on from day one. The Controller will be a key advisor and partner to the CFO and should be able to own and execute many aspects of the company’s accounting and finance responsibilities without much guidance. This is a challenging role that will be rewarding both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities
The Controller will perform or oversee the following:
- Contribute to and oversee monthly close process
- Prepare and journalize accounting transactions
- Evaluate and interpret accounting pronouncements, including revenue recognition specific to software companies
- Prepare external reports required under third party contracts
- Assist in the preparation of reporting materials for the Board of directors and Investors
- Provide information and analyses to CFO and assist in preparation of certain internal reporting materials
- Manage the annual audit process including preparation of audited financial statements with footnote disclosures
- Assist in the completion of the corporate tax returns
- Billings, collections, and treasury responsibilities as necessary
- Establish internal controls

Experience and Education
- Combined 7+ years public and corporate accounting experience
- CPA, Master of Accountancy, or MBA strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, specifically related a technology company
- Experience as hands-on accounting manager or Controller a plus
- Experience managing the corporate audit process
- Experience executing and accounting for M&A and financing activities, including 409a valuations and others
- Experience with international currencies a plus
- Proven ability to perform in unstructured, start-up culture
- Extensive working knowledge of accounting software, primarily Quickbooks
- Proficient with Windows operating system, including Excel, Outlook, Explorer, Word and Power Point

- Analyzing OEM hardware and software to determine required work and approach.
- Setting up OEM development environments to facilitate work.
- Porting ACL to the target environment, including writing / porting new libraries where required.

- Debugging issues with ACL that arise on the target device.

Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years of software development experience using C and C++. Java experience, a plus.

- Must be a motivated self-starter and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
