OpenMobile�s CEO, Robert Angelo�s extensive history in compatibility started in the PC era where he, as COO of Phoenix Technologies, opened up the clone business. Angelo then went on to be the Founder and CEO of SystemSoft where applications on laptops were made compatible. After two IPOs and deep-rooted OEM support, in 2010 Angelo began hand-picking a world-class engineering team with multi-layered compatibility expertise to solve application compatibility for the post-PC era, with Smartphones, Tablets, eReaders, Connected TVs and IVIs. Today OpenMobile is responsible for extending the reach of the Android App Ecosystem, putting it on devices and platforms that would never otherwise be possible.

OpenMobile is headquartered in Framingham, MA, and has offices in India and Finland.

Bob Angelo - Chairman & CEO

Bob Angelo has built several successful companies that have resulted in high value acquisitions or an Initial Public Offering.

Bob has deep experience in building and executing OEM focused compatibility strategies. He has a long history in the application compatibility starting in the PC era where Bob, as COO of Phoenix Technologies, lead the team that opened up the clone business. Years later Bob became the Founder-CEO of SystemSoft where his team created BIOS, Power Management and PC Card Software. Bob's first two customers were Intel and Microsoft. Systemsoft was the absolute leader in compatibility for notebooks and laptops.

Now, given his deep background in technology and compatibility, it is evident why he is launching OpenMobile with the next wave of compatibility, this time bringing 200K+ Apps to Smartphones, Tablets, TVs and Cars.

Leading OpenMobile's executive team, Bob is responsible for providing strategic direction, business operations, profitable execution, and talent management.

Chris Berland - CFO

Chris Berland joined OpenMobile as Chief Financial Officer in January of 2013. He is responsible for all accounting and financial capabilities of the company and is actively involved in the company�s growth strategy, investor relations, and long-term planning with the CEO/Chairman, board of directors, and investors. His experience in hiring and leading top-notch teams and instilling financial discipline to a start-up environment is instrumental in transforming the company and preparing it for its exciting future. Mr. Berland�s financial leadership will help maximize shareholder value while providing world-class service to its internal and external customers.

Prior to joining OpenMobile, Mr. Berland was the Vice President of Finance at Skyscape.com, a wholly owned company of Physicians Interactive, Inc., and was the company�s financial leader, helping the CEO and board of directors build and execute on a long-term strategic plan. In his four years at Skyscape, he built a finance team comprised of A-players and developed all of the financial capabilities of the company. As a key executive, he helped execute and integrate two acquisitions and helped raised $17 million of growth capital from Merck�s Global Health Innovation Fund. He was responsible for all financial functions of the organization, including FP&A, accounting, treasury, and capital management.

Mr. Berland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Kansas State University.

Roger Carlhammar - VP of OEM Sales

Roger Carlhammar is responsible for OEM Sales at OpenMobile. He brings over 25 years of Sales and Management experience to the OpenMobile team.

Before joining OpenMobile, Roger served as VP Global Sales at Scalado, an imaging technology company that develops and markets imaging technology like camera and album apps for the OEM community. Prior to that he worked as VP Sales at Swiss start-up Phiware Voice, a company developing services of web vocalization based on cloud technology.

Prior to that, Roger worked as EVP Opera Mobile, running the mobile browser operations for Opera Software. Before that, he served at AU-Systems, that later was acquired by Teleca, both stock listed telecom consultancy companies. There, he occupied a number of positions, like CEO Teleca International, running their international business. Previously he spent a number of years with Nasdaq company Software Spectrum, the major reseller of Microsoft license programs and solutions, having helped their HQ in building the European arm from scratch, as Regional Director EMEA.

Roger holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm University, he has also studied Math�matiques Sup�rieures at Buffon, Paris.

Leila Dillon - SVP & GM Content

Leila boasts more than 18 years of experience in high tech marketing, product strategy, corporate communications and public relations.

She has successfully directed client product launches, placed articles in leading business publications and online media channels, launched award-winning websites, and has been asked to prepare workshops, seminars and panels for some of the most reputable industry conferences.

In the late 90's Leila managed marketing initiatives at various technology companies. At SoftLock, Leila was part of the executive team that was responsible for the launch of Stephen King�s first e-book.

Since 2006, Leila has focussed on website strategy, electronic outreach campaigns, and social media marketing.

At OpenMobile, Leila is responsible for the content organization.

Yasin Hamed - VP EMEA

Yasin Hamed is a tenured technology business executive with 20+ years of IT and Telecomm industry vision and 9 years as Director of Strategic Alliances at Nokia Corporation.

Most recently, Yasin was in charge of licensing and promoting Symbian/S60 to major handset vendors.

Yasin brings expertise in product program management, technology sales strategy, market development, opportunity analysis and long term relationship and account management.

Yasin has a proven track record in his ability to quickly cultivate relationships and develop rapport with influential decision makers and opinion leaders.

At OpenMobile, Yasin is responsible for customer acquisition and business development in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Kevin Menice - SVP & GM Core & Embedded Technologies

Kevin Menice is responsible for Core & Embedded Technologies at OpenMobile. He has over 28 years of senior engineering management experience leading the development of speech recognition platforms, mobile computing, and web-based applications for the consumer and enterprise markets.

Before joining OpenMobile, Kevin worked at Nuance where he helped lead the development of eScription, a back-end transcription service that experienced explosive growth in the healthcare market. Prior to Nuance, Kevin was responsible for the implementation of Orange Communication�s speech strategy, successfully deploying many speech services into Orange�s international networks. Kevin came to Orange through the acquisition of Wildfire Communications where he led the development of Wildfire�s next generation speech platform and services. Kevin worked with Bob Angelo and Chandra Bajpai at SystemSoft helping fuel the company�s explosive growth.

Kevin graduated with distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a BS in electrical engineering.

Michael Paquette - VP Product Management &Technical Operations

Mike Paquette is a strategic technology product development and business executive with over 25 years� experience, including leadership roles within large companies and startups.

Most recently, Mike was Chief Strategy Officer at eIQnetworks, a developer of IT Security and Compliance software solutions. Previously, Mike held a series of executive roles at Top Layer Security, (acquired by Corero Network Security in 2011) including Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Company Strategy.

Mike received his BSEE from Boston University and has performed graduate work on computer networks at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is co-author of a patent on DDoS protection.

At OpenMobile, Mike is responsible for Product Management, Customer Services, Quality Assurance, and IT Infrastructure.
